COLLECTION OF INFORMATION
zuMedia and our service providers may collect the following information from and about you
Registration Information is the information you submit to register for or subscribe to a zuMedia Service, for example, to create an account, post comments, receive a newsletter or request other information. Registration Information may include, for example, name, email address, mailing address, and telephone number.
Public Information and Posts consist of comments or content that you post to the zuMedia Services and the information about you that accompanies those posts or content, which may include a name, user name, comments, likes, status, profile information and picture. Public Information and Posts are always public, which means they are available to everyone and may be displayed in search results on external search engines.
When you access and interact with the zuMedia Services, zuMedia and its service providers may collect certain information about those visits. For example, in order to permit your connection to the zuMedia Services, our servers receive and record information about your computer, device, and browser, including potentially your IP address, browser type, and other software or hardware information. If you access the zuMedia Services from a mobile or other device, we may collect a unique device identifier assigned to that device, or other transactional information for that device.
Cookies and other tracking technologies (such as browser cookies, pixels, beacons, and Adobe Flash technology including cookies) are comprised of small bits of data. zuMedia’s websites, apps, and other services send this data to your browser when you first request a web page and then store the data on your computer or other device so the website can access information when you make subsequent requests for pages from that service. Do Not Track Signals. At this time we do not respond to browser ‘Do Not Track’ signals, as we await the work of interested stakeholders and others to develop standards for how such signals should be interpreted.

We may use the information we collect from and about you to provide the zuMedia Services and features to you, including: to measure and improve those zuMedia Services and features; to improve your experience with both online and off-line zuMedia Services by delivering content you will find relevant and interesting, including marketing messages; to allow you to comment on content, and participate in contests; to provide you with customer support and to respond to inquiries. In order to provide you with content that is more interesting and relevant to you, we may use the information from and about you to make inferences and predictions about your potential areas of interest. If you would like to access, review, correct, update, suppress, delete, or otherwise limit our use of your personal information you have previously provided directly to us, you may contact us. In your request, please include your email address, name, address, and telephone number and specify clearly what information you would like to access, change, update, delete, or suppress. We will try to comply with your request as soon as reasonably practicable and consistent with applicable law.
You may request that we not share your personal information on a going-forward basis with zuMedia Affiliates or unaffiliated parties for their direct marketing purposes by emailing us at contact@zuMedia.com. OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Location of Data
The zuMedia Services are hosted in and managed from the United States. If you are a user located outside the United States, you understand and consent to having any personal information processed in the United States or in any other country in which we have facilities or in which we engage service providers. United States and other countries’ data protection and other relevant laws may not be the same as those in your jurisdiction.
In addition, zuMedia is not responsible for the privacy or data security practices of other organizations, such as Facebook, Twitter, Apple, Google, Microsoft or any other app developer, app provider, social media platform provider, operating system provider, wireless service provider, or device manufacturer, including in connection with any information you disclose to other organizations through or in connection with the zuMedia Services.
We may retain backup information related to your account on our servers for some time after cancellation or your request for deletion for fraud detection or to comply with applicable law or our internal security, or record-keeping policies. It may not always be possible to completely remove or delete all of your information due to technical constraints, or contractual, financial, or legal requirements.
(a) Data Collected
We collect anonymous data from every visitor of the Website to monitor traffic and fix bugs. For example, we collect information like web requests, the data sent in response to such requests, the Internet Protocol address, the browser type, the browser language, and a timestamp for the request.
You are able to view, change and remove your data associated with your profile. Should you choose to delete your account, please contact us at support@zuMedia.com, and we will follow up with such request as soon as possible.
Minors and children should not use zuMedia. By using the Website, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
(b) Use of the Data
We only use your personal information to provide you the zuMedia services or to communicate with you about the services or the Website.
With respect to any documents you may choose to upload to zuMedia, we take the privacy and confidentiality of such documents seriously. We encrypt all documents, and permanently delete any redacted edits you make to documents. If you choose to make a document public, we recommend you redact any and all references to people and addresses, as we can’t protect public data and we are not responsible for any violation of privacy law you may be liable for.
We employ industry standard techniques to protect against unauthorized access of data about you that we store, including personal information.
We do not share personal information you have provided to us without your consent, unless:

– we believe it’s needed to enforce our Terms of Service, or that is legally required;
– we believe it’s needed to detect, prevent or address fraud, security or technical issues;

zuMedia is operated from the United States. If you are visiting the Website from outside the U.S., you agree to any processing of any personal information you provide us according to this policy.
zuMedia may contact you, by email or other means. For example, zuMedia may send you promotional emails relating to zuMedia or other third parties zuMedia feels you would be interested in, or communicate with you about your use of the zuMedia website. zuMedia may also use technology to alert us via a confirmation email when you open an email from us. You can modify your email notification preferences by clicking the appropriate link included in the footer of email notifications. If you do not want to receive email from zuMedia, please opt out of receiving emails at the bottom of any zuMedia emails.
(c) Sharing of Data
We don’t share your personal information with third parties. Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to help us improve the zuMedia Website and service. We currently use Google Analytics (traffic analysis, SEO optimization), Mailchimp (mailing list management), Zendesk (email support) and Chartbeat (analytics). We also use social buttons provided by services like TikTok, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn and Facebook. Your use of these third party services is entirely optional. We are not responsible for the privacy policies and/or practices of these third party services, and you are responsible for reading and understanding those third party services’ privacy policies.
We employ and contract with people and other entities that perform certain tasks on our behalf and who are under our control (our “Agents”). We may need to share personal information with our Agents in order to provide products or services to you. Unless we tell you differently, our Agents do not have any right to use Personal Information or other information we share with them beyond what is necessary to assist us. You hereby consent to our sharing of Personal Information with our Agents.
We may choose to buy or sell assets. In these types of transactions, user information is typically one of the transferred business assets. Moreover, if we, or substantially all of our assets, were acquired, or if we go out of business or enter bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. An authorized agent is a person or business who has authorization to request to know what personal information we have about you, to delete the personal information we have about you, or to opt out of the sale of personal information on behalf of a California resident. Authorized agents use the same links described above to submit requests.
If you are submitting a request on behalf of another person, we require a valid power of attorney and a signed attestation form. If you do not have a valid power of attorney, we require an authorization document and a copy of the consumer’s government-issued photo identification in addition to our attestation form. How Long Do We Retain Your Personal Data?
We retain Personal Data about you for as long as you have an open account with us or as otherwise necessary to provide the Services to you and improve the Services for all users generally. Personal Data of Children
We do not knowingly collect or solicit Personal Data from anyone in the EU, United Kingdom, Lichtenstein, Norway, or Iceland under the age of 16. If you are under 16, please do not attempt to register for the Services or send any Personal Data about yourself to us or any of the services we offer on any of our platforms. If we learn that we have collected Personal Data from a child under age 16, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. Please note that in some circumstances, we may not be able to fully comply with your request, such as if it is frivolous or extremely impractical, if it jeopardizes the rights of others, or if it is not required by law, but in those circumstances, we will still respond to notify you of such a decision. In some cases, we may also need to you to provide us with additional information, which may include Personal Data, if necessary to verify your identity and the nature of your request.

Rectification: If you believe that any Personal Data we are holding about you is incorrect or incomplete, you can request that we correct or supplement Personal Data by emailing us at privacy@zuMediacorp.com.
– Erasure: You can request that we erase some or all of your Personal Data from our systems.
– Withdrawal of Consent: If we are processing your Personal Data based on your consent (as indicated at the time of collection of such data), you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
